DON'T FORGET to have your answers to the puzzle for the week and leave your comments with your answers so I can tally up your points. When leaving your comment with your answers please put all your words in a column. It makes it easier for me to go through the list to figure the points. Also....if you post your answers as "Anonymous" and don't leave your name then I will disqualify that person. Who wants to come by and see that "Anonymous" won? I wouldn't. I will allow it this week because I already have one "Anonymous" commenter but after this week I won't. The winner will be announced tomorrow. I still marvel that you could find 60 words! I'm really curious to see how everyone scored. I may try this on my daughter, who LOVES scrabble. Hugs, e-Mom
e-mom...you're so funny. I actually didn't get near as many as I could have. I've looked at people's answers and found that most everyone got words that I didn't even have...even those that didn't find 60 words. But what really helps boost everyone's score is when they find a word that I didn't find. For each of those words y'all get 10 points. So those words that y'all found that I didn't really add up the points for y'all.
I'm not sure how I'm going to post the winner though. I would like to post the total words for each person and their score on that post where I name the winner...but I don't want to discourage anyone from trying the next ones that will follow. Everyone is enjoying this though and are thanking me for doing it. I would hate for someone to be embarrassed or ashamed that they didn't do as well as others. So I was thinking I'd just post the name of the winner and their total points. That will be deceptive in others thinking they didn't do well...but with the bonus points it will be hard to determine how many points that person would have gotten if they hadn't had so many words that I didn't see.
Thanks for the heads up. I took and look at all the words on the original post, and I'm truly amazed.
Actually, it was great to know that you had found 60, because looking at that one word, I thought, ha, maybe five? So you spurred me on! (My competitive edge.) :~D
To tell you the truth, I've never liked Scrabble, crosswords, and the like very much. (Strange, for a blogger, eh?) But I'm willing to try anything once. Thanks for giving all of us a lot of fun this week.
