Posts On Courtship

My daughter Kristina is starting a series of posts dealing with courtship. If you are interested please go over to her blog and keep up with them.

Many are against courtship for whatever reason. Some are for courtship but have a false idea of what courtship is and how it is done. Some say true biblical courtship does not work and is impossible....but I know it works and I know it can be done. My son Ronnie and his (now) wife Jessica practiced true biblical courtship and are married today and had their first kiss ever and their first touch and holding hands at the marriage altar.

To read Kristina's posts on courtship go here.

Here are some more posts from those who have studied and/or practiced courtship:

Courtney (go to her sidebar and click on the posts under the topic "Courtship")
Jessica (my daughter-in-law)
My posts on Courtship

I pray by reading these posts and with some study on your own that you will see that courtship is God's way of having a relationship with a man before marriage. I only wish I had been saved and known all this before I was married....it would have prevented a lot of heartache and problems.

I love the idea of biblical courtship and will do this with my own children. If we as parents do this more often there would be less unwanted babies and less of them killed.

Something to think about there???

jonathan's journal....You are so right about the babies that are conceived as a result of dating. My husband and I had our son out of wedlock and know the hardships that come with all of that. God never intended for children to be born outside of marriage. And with fornication and dating...comes much heartache and hardship that can be avoided if couples would just practice biblical courtship.

Thank you for your comment.

Sis. Theresa....LOL!! I know how that is. I often forget to sign out too and then Kristina gets onto me for it. I was thinking I had a new reader there for a second ;)

Sis Julie -
Looking forward to reading Kristina's posts. I have been "laying low", so to speak, for several reasons, on the blogs, but wanted to pop in and say hello and let you know I have not forgotten you! You and your family are still on my prayer list! I hope to be keeping up more and getting back into visiting more very soon. I miss the blessings your blog has given to me in the past!

I have read your blog off and on for some years now I am so glad you are faithful with it. I recently started blogging, and was discoraged with how difficult it was to cnnect with othr IFBs. I started a blogroll, but I would also like to be considered for adding to your blog list? You can reach me at water05201@hotmail.com and the blog roll is at http://ifbkjv.blogspot.com/
