I Just Want To Make It Known

I want to be sure and make it known that in the posts I'm doing about my study of the Jehovah's Witnesses where I'm showing comparison between the King James Bible and the version they use the New World Translation that I am not advising or encouraging the use of any other version than the King James Bible. I believe the King James Bible is the only Bible that should be used. It was translated from the original texts and I believe is the only true Word of God for the English speaking people. The Word of God is a spiritually discerned Book that is only to be understood through the interpretation of the Holy Spirit and not with the carnal mind. To simply read it is not to necessarily understand its meaning of what it is saying. It is only to be understood by the born-again believer who possesses the Holy Spirit of God Who is the true author of the Book.

I only want to show in the posts I'm doing that even their writings
(although they have changed words and meaning in the verses they have altered) support what the Word of God in the King James Bible says.

Revelation 22:18-19 clearly states what will happen to those that alter the Word of God. "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

I wanted to make this clear so there is no misunderstanding as to where I stand on the King James Bible. I normally would not share what another version says but want to prove a point in these posts.

Thank you for making a stand in the blogger world, too many women I think try to avoid the issues on their blogs. Unless you count the elections anyways. :P

May I place a link to your blog on mine?

Laura....Yes you may place a link on your blog to my blog. Thank you for asking. Thank you also for your kind comment about my taking a stand. I feel it is important to let others know where we stand on things and leave no room for accusation otherwise.

Anonymous...I do not publish Anonymous comments but someone asked if I think those that use other versions of the bible are unsaved....no I do not think that. Many are just ignorant to the truths of the subject of what is the right one. Many pastors are not right in the version they use for whatever reason. I do know that if you will take the time to study the Scriptures and the history of the King James Bible you will find that the King James Bible is the Word of God for the English speaking people. For more information click on the "Which Version Is God's Word?" in my sidebar and read for yourself. Thank you for your comment.

Sis. Julie, I have lurked for a while from Amy's blog to Jessica's blog to your blog and now I finally have my own. (I didn't want to comment before since I didn't have a blog to link from - I felt it would be rude.) I wanted to thank you for the time and effort you have put into these series. JWs are big in Australia (at least in my part of Down Under). I have had a few as colleagues. I really appreciate it when people, such as yourself, put in the energy to find out major areas where they are wrong. It's easy enough to see them as 'wrong' but it's another thing to go into the details. May God bless you for your dilligence.

God bless you and your family,

Emily x

Sis. Emily...Thank you so much for your comment. JWs are seemingly everywhere in many countries. It saddens me to think of how many are involved in this false religion. My hope and prayer is to inform those who would like to help them see the truth and also to help those involved in the JWs religion to realize there is a danger in continuing with their beliefs and teachings. I pray someone gets help from these posts!!

I appreciate the stands that you take - I also am encouraged by your approach: you use their version as the springboard to get their attention - but place what they say side by side with our Bible, the King James Bible. I have seen others use a cultist's version to get their attention, but don't balance out their approach by also giving them the pure Word of God.

Though they may be bound and blinded by their traditions and false beliefs - the Word of God is not bound!

2 Timothy 2:9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

Bro. Jerry....Thank you. I feel it important to show where they are wrong using their own source. I have to say it is hard using it because it is not King James Bible...but it does show comparison and how it truly does support what God says in the Bible. They try to change the wording to give a different message.

VERY IMPORTANT!

Are you a good person? Take this test and find out.
