Results For How Many Words Can You Find

This has been a week!! I know I haven't posted much this week and that always bothers me when I don't get to do that.

Thursday morning I had Michelle at the hospital ER struggling to breathe and having a high fever and her chest burning. They gave her iv fluids due to being dehydrated and drew blood and took xrays of her neck and her throat. They swabbed her throat to test for strep and they swapped her nose to test for the flu. The blood work showed no mono and the strep test was negative and the flu test was also negative. Her potassium level was really low so they had to give her potassium by iv too. The xrays showed swelling in her throat which explained the difficulty in breathing and also showed the beginning of pneumonia. So she was a very sick girl!! She was doing much better by that evening after having fluids and getting started on a steroid to help with the throat and the chest problems. Now the only thing she is dealing with is that she is allergic to something in the Bomb Pops popsicles. The doctor said she needed to eat lots of popsicles....so she requested those to have. After eating a couple of those her face swelled up and turned really red. We thought maybe it was something else that did it so she tried to eat another one later that evening....and the same thing happened. So to her disappointment...no more Bomb Pops.

Then yesterday Kristina began coughing really bad and not feeling well. By yesterday afternoon she was achy and had the chills and began to run a fever last night of 102*. So now we are dealing with her having the flu. I'm praying she doesn't get bad enough to have to go to the hospital. I was reading on the Atlanta news website that the flu is very widespread here in Georgia. They are seeing record cases of the flu and many had their flu shots. My prayer now is that my husband doesn't get it. He has started his new job and cannot be sick right now.

We are in the process of looking for a house. We looked at several last Saturday but none that the Lord would allow us to get. We go to look at another one this afternoon. My husband has also began setting up his schedule for deputation. Please help us pray. Many churches are struggling and are either not taking on any more missionaries and won't let us come or they have lots of missionaries in front of us that they would need to take on before they would consider us. I know that God is in control of all of this and that is why I'm not fretting. But I saw the look in my husband's eyes every time he would hear the news that we couldn't come to a church. We just thank the Lord for the few meetings that he has gotten so far. The Lord will work it all out in His time. But until then my husband has to work his job to provide for our family. And with his health already being an issue (which God has seen fit to help him with lately to God be the glory!!) he certainly doesn't need the flu on top of it.

Anyway...with all of this going on this week there hasn't been much time devoted to the computer. I hope to see my girls well and be back at posting on Monday. Till then I did want to post the results to the puzzle for this week. Thank you to those that played.

Hi Julie,
My prayers are with you and your family. The first song that played on your site was stand still, let God move and it is so true. He has a plan for my life and yours and He will accomplish it. It is sometimes hard to wait on the Lord but, he has given us His promise and we can rest in that dear sister.

Hi Julie!
Oh, I am so sorry sickness is going through your family like that. I will be praying for you all, and especially your husband. We have really been so busy but thankful no sickness! i was really wondering how everything was going in regards to your new ministry. Now I know! We went to an Answers in Genesis conference in GA yesterday with our homeschool group and we were in the auditorium with so many people I was thinking about how many germs must be floating around! I've been praying we don't get sick!
I was thinking, there could be some type of food coloring in the Bomb Pops Michelle could be allergic to. If i remember correctly, those are the bright red, white and blue ones? (I love those!) Anyway, just a thought.
It was really fun playing again this week. My son didn't have enough time. He has been really bombarded with school, including an online class he's taking, and a couple other things. Maybe next time! He missed it!
Praying for your family.

sis. pamelak....That is what we are thinking...that it is the food coloring. It is either that or the medicine they gave her.

bro. nicholas....I hope everyone gets better really soon too. Kristina is very sick right now and if she doesn't get better than how she is now I'll probably end up at the hospital with her. Please just lift her up in prayer...she really needs it!!

Sis Julie,

I certainly understand your absence. The stomach flu hit here big this week and I am just starting to feel like myself again. I too have been reading and hearing on the news how badly this has been going around. Praying everyone is well on the road to recovery.

Praying for your house situation as well. I know it must be difficult to have everything in limbo but God is in control and you can take comfort in that.

Love you, Lyndy

Hi, I'm sorry to hear your girls are ill but like you said, we know tha God is in control of all things. I found your blog via Jimena's and read a little bit a while ago (particularly the stuff on courtship). I hope you don't mind me asking this but I have written a blog post on Titus 2v3-5 (more of a blog question really) and would appreciate your comments when you have time.
Thanks, Susan.
