Please Pray For This Family

Psalm 54:2 "Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth."

I was introduced to a family's blog some months back by another blogger (Sis. Kristi). This family has been going through a terrible ordeal for quite some time now. They are the Douglass family in Florida. I have been praying for them and their situation since I came to know the situation. I should have requested prayer and brought their situation to your attention a long time ago. For that I am ashamed and very sorry.

I was at their blog yesterday and was viewing their videos of what is going on and how things are going and was brought to great tears once again over it all. I would like to ask you to go to their blog and and read their story and view their videos. There is a video in the first post you see and there are more videos at the bottom of the main page. Once you read their story and view their videos...please leave them a comment with a note of encouragement and also add them to your prayer list. This family is being done wrong by the DFACS system and the state. They need grace...peace and comfort during this Christmas time of year and every day.

Click here to get to their blog.

James 5:16b "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."

Thank you Sis. Julie for telling us about this family. What a sad story, but God is not unfair... so we will give thanks and believe that He will be glorified though this..I'm thankful that we can pray for each other no matter the distance. I'm so thankful for this. We will be praying for them.

God bless... :)

Sis Julie, I remember you mentioning this dear family once before. It is amazing that something like this can happen to a family.

Please know they are in my prayers.

Love you, Lyndy

sis. jimena....Thank you for your prayers for them. I've been going through something lately and I've been having this "Woe is me" feeling lately....then God allowed me to check the Douglass family blog once more and I was reminded that no matter how bad or dark I think things are with me...there is always someone else who is in a worse situation. Then I got an email from a friend of mine from the campmeetings I go to each year and a dear friend of mine's husband was in a head-on collision (the other persons' fault) where the other driver was killed and my friend's husband is in the hospital with a crushed foot, broken pelvis, broken leg and other injuries that will not allow him to work or even walk for about 6 months once they do all the surgeries he needs. So God whooped me for having that "Woe is me" attitude!!

sis. lyndy...I have mentioned them before a while back. But things have gotten worse it seems so I thought I should mention them again and get people to praying for them again if and in case people had forgotten about them or didn't know about their situation. Love you!!
