I'd like to say Happy Independence Day and say that I thank God I live in a country that is free!! America has her problems but you have to at least be able to say that you thank God you were born an American. I know I do. So many countries today have rules that prohibit them from doing some of the things we are able to do today with liberty and freedom.
.
I can worship my God freely. There are those that are killed for serving Christ in other countries. We are still able to do that here in the United States. That is the biggest thing I thank God for about my country.
.
Why do we still have the freedoms we have today? Because we have men and women who are willing to risk their lives to make sure we have it. There are those in uniform both in the military and in law enforcement that protect that liberty. Thank God for our servicemen. I do not take for granted the sacrifice that our servicemen and servicewomen make to ensure that we have that liberty and many others.
.
If you have not stopped to pray for our military and law enforcement please do so now. They need our prayers. Also don't forget to pray for the leaders of our great country. They need God in their lives and in the decisions that they make on a daily basis.
.
Thank God for America...where for now....we are still FREE!!

I often wonder what kind of America my grandbabies are going to have to grow up in. I pray we can get back on the great and right path in this country.
Thanks for this post Sis!
Great post and I hope you and your family had a great day.
Love, Lyndy
sis. pam...I pray Jesus comes back before we have grandchildren. I have a feeling this world and especially our nation will be a lot different when that time comes than it is now. And things are bad enough now.

It is truly a privilege to live in this country. Did you know I'm an "immigrant?" It was a honor to stand with people of every nation (some in native costume) and become a US citizen. I count my blessings. Happy Independence Day! :~)
spencer...thank you. I don't plan to change. I've been KJB only since I got saved and don't plan to ever change.
e-mom...no I didn't know you are an immigrant. It's a blessing to have you as part of our country. I'm sure it was a real honor to do so.
Happy belated 4th!! I tried yesterday to leave a comment, but it wouldn't let me. :(
courtney....I'm sorry you had trouble posting a comment. I've had the same problem on other sites I try to leave comments on. Blogger has not been nice to me lately.
