The Woman At The Well

John 4:28-29 "The woman then left her waterpot...and saith to the men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She came ashamed and left assured.
She came burdened and left blessed.
She came cautiously and left carefree.
She came downtrodden and left delighted.
She came empty and left with everything.
She came with fear and left with faith.
She came guilty and left glad.
She came hopeless and left healed.
She came involved and left inspired.
She came a Jezebel and left justified.
She came a know-it-all and left with kindness.
She came loudly and left with love.
She came a mistress and left a miracle.
She came a nothing and left a newscaster.
She came oppressed and left optimistic.
She came a pagan and left a partner.
She came a quarreler and left quietly.
She came in rags and left refined.
She came sad and left satisfied.
Se came a tramp and left tenderly.
She came unsaved and left unified.
She came vacant and left victoriously.
She came for water and left with the Well.
I received this in an email from a friend and loved it!! I thought I would share it with you today. I pray it blesses you as it did me. You know what....not only did the woman at the well come as these things and left as these other things....so did we!! Thank God for the work He did in me when I came to Him thirsty and dry and in need of the Living Water!!
A hearty Amen! Praise the Lord for giving us of His living water, to quench our thirsty souls!
Isaiah 41:17-18 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
I really love the last line!
Guess what? I am IMing with my daddy right now, and he isn't preaching the funeral tomorrow! The family found someone nearer to where they live! Thank the Lord it worked out that way, because my dad doesn't need to be doing it just 3 wks. after open heart surgery and with a weak immune system. However, He is in God's hands and would have been protected had it worked out according to the original plans. I do pray the preacher for the service gives a plain and simple plan of salvation!
I'm glad y'all got a blessing from this. I know I did.
Sista Cala....you can reprint it if you want. I'm not sure who wrote it. But whoever did was a blessing in doing so.
