Please Pray For Amy

I'd like to ask each of you to pray for a lady named Amy Wilhoite. I came across her story and her situation through Sis. Lyndy's site.

She is going through a battle with AML and just last week was told she has 6-8 weeks to live. She has a devoted and loving husband (Brandon) and a small child (Gary). I've been to her blog and read her story and was touched by her faith and her testimony of God's amazing grace in her life.

If you would like to read her story please go to her and her family's blog. There is a way to send an email to her with words of encouragement for her or you can leave a comment. From what I understand....she reads each one. This lady has touched my life in a very real and special way.

Just when we think we have it rough...God sends an Amy into our lives to show us we really don't. I hope you'll go visit her page. But more importantly I hope you will add her and her family to your prayer list and your church's prayer list. Commit to bathe them in prayer while they are going through this difficult time of trial.

To get to her blog just click on her name above.

I ran across Amy's blog, I believe, last week. I couldn't believe her strength and courage. Her concern, not for herself, but for her family. One thing she said that touched the very core of my heart was "My part in all of this is rather easy. I get to die and be with my Savior in glory. I get to miss out on all the suffering this world holds. It is my family who bear the grief and the pain day in and day out. It is for them that my heart breaks."

oh my, thanks for sharing Sis. I will get on over to her blog after I write this comment. It seems to be a theme for me this week - others are being brought to my attention who need prayers and encouragement so much more than I do!

I had just seen her blog earlier this week. She is a member of a message board that my daughter is on, and I understand that things do not look good for her at all, at least not on this earth. I was also very touched by her testimony and courage.
