I Say Amen!!!

*** "The reason some folks don't believe in missions is that the brand of religion they have isn't worth propagating."

*** "As you walk through your house, how many things can be found that would give evidence to a stranger that it is a Christian home."

*** "Give Satan an inch and he'll try to be a ruler."

*** "The only limits to prayer are the promises of God and His ability to fulfill those promises."

*** "Men do not reject the Bible because it contradicts itself but because it contradicts them."

*** "There are aids to Bible reading but no substitutes for Bible reading."

*** "Don't put a question mark where God puts a period!!"

*** "Love and holiness belong together, but love must be holy even as holiness must be loving."

Can you say "AMEN" to any or all of these? I certainly can say "AMEN" to ALL of them. I found these in the January issue of the Sword of the Lord.

I am feeling really bad that I have not been posting more lately. Those of you who are long-time followers and readers of Julie's Jewels know that I've always been pretty good at posting most every day or at least several times a week. We have had many trials in our family lately and with working on top of that....it has made it somewhat difficult to sit down and post. I keep saying that I will get back to it more faithfully but then something else comes up and I don't end up doing it. Please forgive me and please don't give up on me. I'm still here and hoping to be able to have more time to do more posting. Thank you to those who are still with me.

I also don't get around to reading other blogs like I would like to. But that is something else I hope to get back to being more regular in doing. Thank you to those who have not given up on me or on this blog. I love you all!!!

Hey you....don't you go feeling guilty. You are keeping your priorities right. We all could learn from it. You are doing the best you can...that is the beauty of blogging, Julie. I like the phrase, "Blogging without obligation"

I say a hearty AMEN to all the quotes you posted...

Stay in the WORD, stay in prayer and press on.

I always enjoy your posts, Sis. Julie, even though I don't always respond.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers them out of them all." Praying for your victory through the trials!

Blessings,

Sis. Juanita...I realize there are many that read my blog that don't comment. And that is just fine. I realize that some don't like to leave comments and some don't have time to and such. I'm just glad that y'all understand my situation and are being patient with me.

Love you Sis!

Amen to the quotes! That one quote is a song too, about give the devil and inch and he'll be your ruler. Have you heard it?

I suppose that all that's going on with your family and you working, we can forgive you for not posting as much. :) We'll take what we can get!

Dear Sis. Julie,
I am one of those often readers that don't comment (sorry- I often just don't have to much to say since you say it all so well!) But don't feel badly about not posting as often as you would like to. As wives and mothers our husband and family come first in our lives. Thank you for your encouraging spirit and willingness to give some of your time to encouraging ladies over the internet.
God Bless you!

Sis. Erin...Awww. Thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts. I will continue to post as long as the Lord continues to give me things to post. Even if I never have anymore readers...I will just pray that someone would happen over here by direction of the Lord and pray they are blessed and helped.

Thank you again!!
