The Sword of the Lord Conference began on Sunday morning with Bro. Hamlin preaching for us. God moved in the service and a great work was done in the hearts and lives of many who moved to the altar. We are rejoicing at how God has been blessing in the services. It has been shouting time at the House of God in each service. We had a packed house last night with around 80 of those who were there being men of God. What a blessing to see so many preachers stand and say where they are from. Some of those preachers are in need of encouragement to keep going in the work of God. It is tough in the churches today with the devil working overtime in the families of our churches. And the pastor's family is no exception.
God touched our choir and the special singing that we had. It was a real joy to be in the House of God these past two days. And we get to go back and do it again tonight. God is so good to help His children to stay in the fight against sin and Satan.
If you live in the Atlanta area and can come....please do. I can tell you that you will not be sorry if you do.
It was so good to see Courtney (The Contemplations of Courtney...a keeper at home) with her new husband at the meeting. She is just glowing with love and joy in her heart.
I hope to get to see others of you there as well. If you do make it to the meeting please be sure to find me and say hello.

If I lived close enough, I would surely come but I am afraid I would never get there on time, Texas is a long way off when you live on the southern Gulf Coast. Hope the Lord blesses in a mighty way. connie
Sis. Connie....Yeah. I think you live a might bit further than a short drive. I do know that there are some readers that live in the Atlanta area that could come though. I hope some of them do. I have no doubt the Lord is going to bless us with His presence. He has been faithful to do so.
JULIE! I haven't been by in so long, shame on me! I know you'll leave the conference on a spiritual high! I love those types of meetings, when you get to be away from home, but with so many others of like faith.
Take care, I'm off now to read some of your other past posts I've missed.
I know the meeting will be wonderful. If I lived closer I would come. I hope your doing well.
Hi Julie,
Yes...I am afraid I wouldn't be able to make it as well. GA is a far way from where I am. :) I wanted to stop by and say hi! I hope you had another great night tonight at the camp meeting!
Ginger~
It was good seeing you again too!! Last night's ( Tue ) service was AWESOME!!
Hope to see ya'll again soon!
Courtney...It sure was an awesome service!! I'm sure it will be alot sooner than when we would see you before since you live so much closer now. Although...who knows how long it will be. Just cause we live in the same state now doesn't mean we'll see each other any more frequently does it? Although I hope we do!!
