They teach that only 144,000 will share in the heavenly glory with Christ. They teach that all others will enjoy a peaceful and blessed life on earth. The truth is that God gives all believers the hope of being with Christ forever. Proof of this is given in the following verses:
John 14:1-3 (KJB) "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
(NWT) Do not let YOUR hearts be troubled. Exercise faith in God, exercise faith also in me. In the house of my Father there are many abodes. Otherwise, I would have told YOU, because I am going my way to prepare a place for YOU. Also, if I go my way and prepare a place for YOU, I am coming again and will receive YOU home to myself, that where I am YOU also may be."
Philippians 3:20 (KJB) "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ."
(NWT) "As for us, our citizenship exists in the heavens, from which place also we are eagerly waiting for a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."
I Peter 1:3-5 (KJB) "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
(NWT) "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled and unfading inheritance. It is reserved in the heavens for YOU, who are being safeguarded by God's power through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last period of time."
I really do pray that all of these posts with the information of what these people are teaching is helping you. I pray that once we have gone through all of these points that you will be better informed and ready to talk to them when they approach you. You will have the verses of their version to help to show them the error of their doctrine. They need to be told to truth and God wants to use us to help them have their spiritual blinders removed.

That's so sad! No wonder so many that I knew and have heard about have addiction problems - they are so stressed that they will never measure up with all their "good works" that they are in a state of despair. Praise the Lord that Jesus paid it all - and being saved through faith in Him ensures me of a home in Heaven! Thanks for another good post on this subject of exposing the falsehood of Jehovah's Witness doctrine.
Bro. Jerry...It is very sad!! I'm so thankful for that day that God revealed Himself to me and that He gave me the faith to trust Him for eternal salvation. And I didn't have to work for it or do anything but trust in Him for it.
