**The Jehovah's Witnesses deny the presence of the believer with Christ upon death. When a believer dies they immediately go to be with the Lord Jesus Christ.
(KJB) II Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
(NWT) "But we are of good courage and are well pleased rather to become absent from the body and to make our home with the Lord."
The body is asleep in the ground awaiting the resurrection while the soul and spirit are with Christ.
(The body sleeps) (KJB) John 11:11-14 "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead."
(NWT) "he said these things, and after this he said to them: Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep. Therefore the disciples said to him: Lord, if he has gone to rest, he will get well. Jesus had spoken, however, about his death. But they imagined he was speaking about taking rest in sleep. At that time, therefore, Jesus said to them outspokenly: Lazarus has died,"
(The resurrection) (KJB) I Corinthians 15:20-23 "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."
(NWT) "However, now Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death. For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through man. For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. But each one in his own rank: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence."
I want to let it be known that I do not support using any other "bible" than the King James Bible. I simply want you to see the comparison between the Word of God and their own writings. I pray for each one that reads these posts that you will be learned about this religion and more able to talk to them to help them see and begin to question what they believe.

Maybe it will challenge some lost visitors to start digging into their Bibles and see what it really says!
