Please Pray!!

I'm asking all my readers to please pray right now for Ronnie and Jessica. For those of you who don't know....this is my son and his wife. They are expecting a baby. They miscarried a baby in March of this year and the dr is watching her very carefully. She had her first doctor appointment on Monday and they drew blood. They had her to come again yesterday to draw more blood. They are keeping a watch on her HGC (pregnancy hormone) count. The numbers dropped from Monday. They called her and told her that she is a miscarriage waiting to happen. I know they are doctors and they know their business...but Ronnie and Jessica know the Great Physician!! And He is able to keep that baby and make everything alright according to His will.

They are very tore up right now and they need your prayers. We are asking God for a miracle!!

Thank you my dear friends for taking the time to pray for this young couple who are doing their best to trust the Lord in their young marriage.

I began reading Jessica's blog a few years ago when I randomly accessed it by just pressing "next blog." I became very interested and have been reading it regularly. I feel terrible for her right now and I pray that everything will go ok, I honestly know how she feel, and hopefully, her case isn't the same as mine, and she will eventually be able to have a baby. However, i'm not sure if it's the same case with her, but when my husband and I were trying so desperately to have a child, the doctor's told us it was best to give trying a rest (a long rest) after miscarriage, because it allows your body to repair and prepare more effectively for a pregnancy. Also, the problem could very possibly lie in Ronnie, and IF something was to happen this time, they might really need to look into that. I hope this don't come off sounding rude, but with having experience of my own, and being a nurse, I felt as though I should offer this advice. I noticed that Jessica is taking a break from blogging, which is a VERY good idea, to keep stress low, which is important. I pray all goes well according to God's will.

Rhianna, RN....Thank you so much for commenting and offering your advice. Yes they were trying...but they also trust the Lord that He would not allow them to become pregnant until it was His timing and His will. They know and understand that all things happen for a reason. They would like to check out why all of this has happened should she miscarry but with no insurance or funds available for it they won't be able to do so. We are just praying that nothing happens. God can still make all this work out. But if not...I know His grace will be sufficient for them like it was before.

Thank you again for your advice. Her taking a break from blogging was needful. She had been getting some pretty rude comments lately and they feel that stress helped contribute to what is going on in her body. Not to mention other things in our family that may be contributing.

Sis. Julie - I, too, have been reading Jessica's blogs and was saddened that she had to quit posting for a time, and especially for the reason why she had to quit. Thank you for this report - now we know how to pray more effectively.

We had a baby shower for our Jessica the other night (she and my nephew were married the week before your Ronnie and his Jessica). Jessica and Andrew's little one is due by the end of October, but the midwife says he/she could come any time from now till then.

Let your Jessica know we're praying for her and for Ronnie.
