Puzzle For The Week

I know some of you were looking for the How Many Words Can You Find puzzle but I thought I would change things up this week. I know that some of you also liked the puzzle(s) I've done before like this one. This puzzle tests our knowledge of the Bible. I will ask you 10 questions and give the book and chapter that you will find the answers in. It is up to you to figure out what the answer is. They are fairly easy and you may not even need to look them up to find the answer. I will post the answers on Saturday and the results of how y'all did.

1. Who was the first Christian martyr? (Acts chapters 6-8)

2. Where was the first piggy bank? (II Kings chapter 12)

3. Who was the first person to fall asleep during a sermon? (Acts chapter 20)

4. What is the first commandment in the Bible? (Genesis chapter 1)

5. Who built the first city? (Genesis chapter 4)

6. what is the first book in the Bible named after a woman? (No Scripture for this one....just find it)

7. What was the first of the ten plagues of Egypt? (Exodus chapter 7)

8. Who was the first disciple chosen by Jesus? (John chapter 1)

9. Who told the first lie? (Genesis chapter 3)

Oohhh I like this little change! Thank you!

I'm putting together a little gathering for my daughter's 18th birthday and have been wondering what fun things she and her friends could do. There will be food, cake, worship (four people will bring guitars)...I'll add this fun question game to the mix.

:o)

Lady Jane....That sounds like a lot of fun!! I did something fun for my oldest daughter's 18th bday. I got in touch with each lady and teenage girl that was coming and had them write up a little something that she could put in her hope chest as a memorial for her to look back on. Each lady and young lady was to take a Christian quality or trait that started with the first letter of their first name and they were to write about that trait from their heart. It could have been a personal experience that God allowed them to go through to help develop that trait in their life or they could give Scripture referring to that trait and develop it as God allowed them. Then I asked them to give her a little token that she could keep with that thing was written so she could have a visual to look at as she read each one. It was really neat and it meant so much to her. Each lady read her "article" to her and presenter her with the "article" and the token that went with it. She then put these in a little treasure chest for her to keep in her hope chest.

I hope the planning of the party goes well and that y'all have a great time and it is a special time for her as well.

Let me know how it goes.
