Have You Been Too Busy?

Revelation 2:4 "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love."

I found the poem below some time ago and I usually post it each year at this time of year. It serves as a good warning. After you read it I want you to ask yourself this question....Have you been too busy? By busy I mean several things.....

Have you been too busy to take time to read your Bible?
Have you been too busy to pray for those lost loved ones in your life?
Have you been too rushed and busy in your shopping to take time to witness or pass a tract to those cashiers you see in the stores?
Have you been so busy that you have forgotten to focus on the true meaning of this time of year? It's not about the gifts....it's about the Giver of the ultimate gift!!

If you have been too busy to do these things then I have one thing to say....YOU'VE BEEN TOO BUSY!! You have left your first love. The devil loves to distract God's children and this is the prime time of year for him to accomplish that in people's lives. Don't let yourself be a victim to him and his devices. Don't let yourself be overcome by the busy-ness of this season that you forsake those things that keep your focus where it should be.

Take time to read the poem below.....

Great post as usual - especially at this time of year but I think we need to be reminded of this throughout the year too!

sis. tiffany...you are so right!! I just know that more people have a problem with this at this time of year with the shopping on top of working and caring for families and such. I hope everyone will apply this to their everyday of the year life though.
