Thank You Lord For Christian Friends

Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."

When we go to God in prayer we should be sure to take time to thank Him for our many
blessings. We should thank Him for the breath He gives us each day. I thank Him that I can see, hear and speak. Many woke up today not having those things present in their life. We should thank Him for our family, church, home, vehicle He allows us to have. We should thank Him for food, modern conveniences (heat, air conditioning, electricity, etc.) and for the strength to even get out of bed each morning.

Another thing that is important to thank God for is those God has put in our lives. God has allowed many Christians to come into my life who have become precious friends to me. He has brought them into my life through many means. One way has been through family members. Another way is through church, campmeetings, ladies' meetings, email and blogging.

I've met many through my blog that I would have never gotten acquainted with any other way. Many of you I consider my friend. You have encouraged me...prayed for me and helped me bear burdens with me. Although we have not met in person...I know that we will meet one day. I've already had the honor and privilege and blessing of meeting Sis. Nikki in person. Next month (Lord-willing) I will be meeting another blogging friend. And only God knows if I'll be allowed to meet any of you in person in the future. I thank God that if we don't meet here...we will meet in Heaven.

This post is written from my heart to thank God for each one of you. Each of you have blessed me in one way or another. I appreciate you all and only pray that God lets me be a friend to you just as you have been to me.

Philippians 1:3 "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you."

Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."
Don't fail to thank God for the BEST FRIEND you could ever have....the Lord Jesus Christ. Other friends will fail you in some way...but Jesus NEVER will!!

"Lord Jesus...I want to thank you for each and every thing you have blessed me with. But my prayer right now is directed at and for each of my Christian friends. Each one has been precious and special to me. I'm not worthy to have the friends you have let me have...but you have blessed me abundantly with many Christian friends. I thank you for each one and ask that you bless them and help them with whatever they are going through on this day. I ask Lord that you help me to be to them what you would have me to be. Let me love them and help them and encourage them as you see fit to let me to. Thank you again Lord. I love you and thank you for being my Best Friend!! I ask these things in Jesus' precious name. Amen."

Mrs Julie praise the Lord for the ones he has allowed to pass our direction in this life. I am thankful for my Savior for being my friend but I am also thankful for my Pastor and pastors family for being a friend to me. God has been good to me in regard to friends since I have been saved. Julie,
You are a precious friend/sister in the Lord to me....I love you without having ever met you in person...but I just KNOW we will know each other when we are in Heaven...and wow...we will have a blogger reunion, will that be cool or what...singing and praising our Lord...and worshipping HIM....blogging has brought a new dimension to my life that I am so thankful for..it is difficult to explain that to someone ....that you can have a kindred spirit with someone with a keyboard..but there is a SOUL typing...and I am thankful for all the good that this kind of communication brings.

Sister Julie, that just made me feel like giving you a big hug! You are so sweet and I can just see that the Lord has given you a love for so many people that come to love you and call you a friend. Thank you for your friendship, thank you that even though we are from worlds apart it seems, you still treat me with respect, love and as a sister. Knowing you has and is changing me, and pulling me to follow Jesus and to please Him first above all others. Wow, there is so much going on in my heart that I know I can thank you for... thank you for your example, thank you for your gentleness, thank you for saying things as they are in love, I think you are super cool! God bless you... I will stop now, I could go on and on, but may the Lord just simply continue to use you for His glory.

sis. jimena....you are so sweet!! I really wish I felt like I am all that you say I am. I can say though...praise the Lord He let me be all that for you. It is only because of Him...nothing of me. You have become so precious to me and I thank God that He let me be of help to you and you have helped me in ways only God knows. You have been an encouragement to me just by you sharing the ways He has allowed me to help you. Thank you for letting me know and for having confidence in me to share those things you have with me. I love you and only desire to be here for you when you need me!

Sis Julie,

You are a treasure indeed. How often we take for granted that we are blessed with everyday. If I don’t tell you often enough, you are a true blessing to me and I thank God for bringing you into my life.

After things calm down a little more for me, I still plan on a visit to see you and your sweet family.

Love you, Lyndy

VERY IMPORTANT!

Are you a good person? Take this test and find out.
