Ordination Service

Tomorrow (Saturday, September 8, 2007) we will be having an ordination service for Bro. Tim who is our associate pastor/youth leader. He and his wife went to Lake Butler, Florida to candidate for a pastorate there a few weeks ago. They called him to be there pastor. They are in the process of making preparations for their move. They will be leaving next Saturday, September 15, 2007. We are very saddened to see them leave. They have been such a blessing and a help to our church. Bro. Tim has been a friend and help to my husband and Sis. Crystal has been a friend and a real help to me.
.
Please pray for them as they embark on this new journey. This will be Bro. Tim's first pastorate. He has a real heart and burden for lost souls and a love for the church. He will no doubt be used mightily there in that church. He will need God's wisdom and guidance in leading those people there.
.
We are looking forward to a great time in the Lord tomorrow as we have his ordination service. We are thankful to God for letting us share the years we have shared with Bro. Tim and his wife but are looking forward to hearing and seeing great things be done through them and in them on this new journey God has called them to take.
.
We love you Bro. Tim and Sis. Crystal!! You will be missed very much!! May the Lord richly bless you and the ministry there at Johnstown Baptist Church.

Wow, how wonderful! Congrats to Bro. Tim and his wife Crystal. I pray that the Lord blesses them in this, and that his first pastorate will be his life long pastorate.

May the Lord bless you Tim and Crystal.

Oh, I can just imagine the emotions you are going through right now. I pray it is a blessed time tomorrow and that you all can also be an encouragement to them even in Florida...

Our church has sent out a total of 5 missionaries now and have also had a part in starting 3 churches in different parts of the world. I have not been at the church long enough to see each and everyone go out, but have seen a few and it is always hard to lose the faithful ones who wnat to really serve the Lord, but what a reward to be a help to them...they are going to be reaching people in a place where you all cannot reach...be there for them and help them all that you can..if they will accept it and if they need it.

I know our situation is some different in how that we "sent" our people out to begin a new work. We sent them with things that they needed....whether it be chairs or hymnals or other things.

Anyway, I will stop my babbling now.

Praying for you all.

sis. lula...thank you for the encouragement. We are very excited for them but saddened in our hearts as well. They know they will have our help anytime they need it. Our only concern is that God would raise someone up or send someone in to help my husband. My husband is not in good health and Bro. Tim has been a real help to him these past three years they have been with us. But we also know that God knows the need and He will fill that need in His time.

Congratulations to Bro. Tim and also to you for helping him progress to the level that God can now use his to further his Kingdom in his new pastorate.
And rest assured with the knowledge that when God found a NEW place for Bro. Tim And Sis Crystal... he also found some one else to fill your need
I am praying for your church and for you and your husband as you continue to serve God.

sis. marsheila...I'm sorry you didn't get to make it. It was a real blessing!! The Lord blessed and used the men that preached to the church and to Bro. Tim.

Sis Julie, I will certainly be praying for you. We had a friend who became a pastor of a small church about 6 years ago and we attended there for a couple of years and when we left there was no one really to help...maybe a couple of men, but not really grounded ones...and it took a bit, but the Lord is really starting to bless his church and he has a few faithful men he can count on to help him when needed and I think the Lord will do the same for you. We will just pray He doesn't wait very long :-)

What a blessing! Wanna know something intersting? My dad has a young man by the name of Tim in his church. Tim is in Bible College to become a pastor. He fills in the pulpit for my dad quite often already. But he looks so much like your Tim in the photo!

sis. pam...That is pretty neat.

VERY IMPORTANT!

Are you a good person? Take this test and find out.
