Sorry Folks....I'm Still Around

I've had a few of you checking in on me to see if I am okay. I'm sorry I haven't posted in the past couple of days. Wednesdays are pretty busy for us with babysitting two children and then getting ready for church. Today was taken up with leaving early for dental appointments for the girls and then feeding the little ones once we got home then putting them down for a nap. Then we have Jessica (Ronnie's fiance') over on Thursday evenings to spend time with our family so I had to prepare supper and then sit with the "love birds" while they talk and spend time together. It is just now 9:30pm and Jessica just left and now it is time to get ready for bed and read my Bible before going to bed.

Lord-willing I will have a post put up on Friday (tomorrow). I'm sorry I haven't had time to put posts up but I wanted to reassure you all that I'm okay and still around. Just slightly busy. I guess I should take short breaks from my blog like some do but I just don't like to do that. It just seems that I have days that I can't help but be away and I'm forced to take a break. Thank you to those of you who have inquired about me. It makes me feel loved when you ask about me and seem concerned that y'all haven't heard from me.

I love and appreciate you all.

Well let me assure you that you are loved and missed when you aren’t around. Glad to know that you were just busy. I know we all have times like that.

Have a fabulous Friday.

Hey Girl!! So glad to see you back! I just read your daughter's poem and was so blessed. I'm going back to that post to put a comment.

I had a few days when Ididn't post and I almost felt like I was abandoning my "post", pardon the pun! So I understand totally what you mean. Real life and priorities must come first. Just glad you're ok!

How To Pray The Rosary - The purpose of the Rosary is to help keep in memory certain principal events or mysteries in the history of our salvation, and to thank and praise God for them. There are twenty mysteries reflected upon in the Rosary, and these are divided into the five JOYFUL MYSTERIES, the five LUMINOUS MYSTERIES, the five SORROWFUL MYSTERIES, and the five GLORIOUS MYSTERIES.
rosary with numbers

1. Make the Sign of the Cross and say the "Apostles' Creed."
2. Say the "Our Father."
3. Say three "Hail Marys."
4. Say the "Glory be to the Father."
5. Announce the First Mystery; then say the "Our Father."
6. Say ten "Hail Marys," while meditating on the Mystery.
7. Say the "Glory be to the Father."
8. Announce the Second Mystery; then say the "Our Father." Repeat 6 and 7 and continue with Third, Fourth and Fifth Mysteries in the same manner.

Those who pray the Rosary regularly would do well to be enrolled in the Confraternity to gain extra spiritual benefits for each Rosary they pray.
After the Rosary:

HAIL, HOLY QUEEN, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!

V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray. O GOD, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

After each decade say the following prayer requested by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima: "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of your mercy."

As suggested by the Pope John Paul II the Joyful mysteries are said on Monday and Saturday, the Luminous on Thursday, the Sorrowful on Tuesday and Friday, and the Glorious on Wednesday and Sunday (with this exception: Sundays of Christmas season - The Joyful; Sundays of Lent - Sorrowful)

Peace Be With You

Micky

michael...you were kind to take the time to share your practice of prayer with me. However, I pray to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Who is my mediator.

I Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

He is my best friend.

Proverbs 18:24 "...and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." I talk to Him as I talk to my friends. I don't conversate with my friend by going through some formal routine. I just talk to them.

I also don't pray repeatedly the same thing. I tell my Lord once and He hears me. He does not like vain repetition.

Matthew 6:7 "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."

I also don't have to go to a earthly man (and I'm told not to...he has the same sin nature that I still have) Matthew 23:9 "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Why would I go to a earthly man to confess my sins when He is just as capable of committing sin as I am. I go to the One and Only Sinless Man Who is just as much God as He is Man. He is my mediator between me and God and only God has the power to forgive sin and cleanse me.

I've been seeing your comments on your site to Bro. Tim and to Maranatha. These two are two very knowledgable people when it comes to the Word of God and Maranatha (as well as my father in law) know much about the Catholic ways and doctrine yet God revealed to both the error of the Catholic doctrine. They are praying for you and so am I. Please don't start an argument on my site. I won't have it. Keep it on your own site or go to their sites and debate with them. I will be praying for you and for them as they talk with you. I would talk with you if you were open to listening which right now you aren't. I see no need in debating or arguing with a person who is so mean and childish as you have been on your site with the comments you have left for Bro. Tim and Maranatha. They are up to the task and I will let them have at it and I will stay out of it. Please don't call names or be ugly on my site like you have been on yours. I will delete your comment if you do. Thank you Michael and have a nice day.

VERY IMPORTANT!

Are you a good person? Take this test and find out.
