Christian...How Are You Responding To God's Love?
I John 2:4 "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
Yesterday the thought was about the lost person and his response to the love of God. Today the thought deals with the child of God.
A saved person can respond improperly just as the lost person does. The difference is that while the lost person can respond improperly to the love of God in salvation the saved person has already responded correctly to that but can respond improperly in obedience to God's Word.
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour we should determine to avoid the sins that sent Jesus to the cross. Too many saved people are doing just the opposite. Some take for granted that they are saved and can't lose it no matter what and still do things they know are not pleasing to the Lord. They willingly disobey and remove themselves from fellowship with Him.
There is also the saved person that will take no interest in sharing Christ with the lost. When a person grows cold on God and is not in fellowship with Him he doesn't care to share Christ with others. How sad it is when someone who has been bought with the precious Blood of Christ yet doesn't even bother to share with a lost and dying world that Jesus saves.
May all of you reading this today realize the importance of obeying God in everything as He reveals things to you, avoid the sinful things of this world and share with this lost world the love of Christ and what He did for them.

Excellent post today Sis. Julie!!! It made me think of:
(Rom 6:1) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
(Rom 6:2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Great Post Sis Julie.
May we all share Christ with the lost.
Lord Bless...
Good thoughts here! We needn't be intimidated by the world once we as God's people realize we have exactly what the world needs!
