I thank God for my church and my pastor, and pastors family.

Bro TimAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5017678746327177641.post-67522623355097992342007-04-17T06:16:00.000-05:002007-04-17T06:16:00.000-05:00Amen Julie,The lack of true servants are lacking i...Amen Julie,
The lack of true servants are lacking in the churches today and it affects the whole congregation.
We just left a church last year because of a leadership issues, the pastor felt that He only answered to God and no one else. As he put it, "The buck stops here." Pride is something that should not be in the characteristic of a pastor, humility like our Lord and Savior showed us, should be the main character of a pastor.

CristinaBaptist Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07098324019181081925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5017678746327177641.post-56044383922531983562007-04-16T18:14:00.000-05:002007-04-16T18:14:00.000-05:00This is a very good post Sis Julie. We do need more...This is a very good post Sis Julie.
We do need more Pastors who are Servants.A lot of churches are lacking this today.

Lord Bless...Christopher Clinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10118029586486908782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5017678746327177641.post-86305601662832186902007-04-16T17:58:00.000-05:002007-04-16T17:58:00.000-05:00You said in your post: "A true pastor is careful t...You said in your post: "A true pastor is careful to make sure he does not "lord" over or be a dictator over that flock. The pastor is the under shepherd and the Lord Jesus is the Shepherd."

My dad is a Pastor and I know he even tries to not use the phrase, "MY CHURCH" but instead will say "THE LORD'S CHURCH" OR "YOUR CHURCH", depending on what is appropriate of course.

This is a needed post!
