Imitate him in "public." Most of us live in some sort of public capacity—many of us are called to work before our fellow-men every day. We are watched; our words are caught; our lives are examined—taken to pieces. The eagle-eyed, argus-eyed world observes everything we do, and sharp critics are upon us. Let us live the life of Christ in public. Let us take care that we exhibit our Master, and not ourselves—so that we can say, "It is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me."

—Charles Spurgeon

Cristina

CristinaBaptist Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07098324019181081925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5017678746327177641.post-59129921425107106992007-04-14T18:17:00.000-05:002007-04-14T18:17:00.000-05:00We are either being an example of God's goodness a...We are either being an example of God's goodness are a testimony of being some one who says one thing but does another. I hope that I am never found in that second place. I am sure at times I don't present an accurate picture of My Lord and Saviour but it is my heart's desire.Very good post. connie from TexasTO BECOMEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01358989235076877037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5017678746327177641.post-1178054293508973952007-04-14T16:30:00.000-05:002007-04-14T16:30:00.000-05:00Mrs Julie great Post I believe Christians would li...Mrs Julie great Post I believe Christians would live closer to the Lord if they really realized how many people are getting what a Christian is out of their life. We always have someone looking up to us.

Bro TimAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5017678746327177641.post-13764897986894859242007-04-14T08:59:00.000-05:002007-04-14T08:59:00.000-05:00Good post Sis. Julie.
You are right, there will always be someone watching you when you claim Christ as Saviour and Lord of your life just waiting for you to slip up somewhere so they can point the finger. My sister did this to me when i spoke up to her because she was taking advantage of my mother. Even though i was in the right for doing so. It's funny that the lost seem to know so much about how a christian should act but yet won't try it themselves.
Anyway before i go on too much, i hope your daughter is feeling better soon. God Bless you.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11921847473864762955noreply@blogger.com
